About the Center

      The mission of the Career Development Center is to guide students toward suitable career paths and the development of their individual talents. Its primary responsibilities include career development guidance and counseling, vocational training and employment services, off-campus internships and industry–employment matching, alumni relations and services, as well as integrating resources and faculty from vocational training centers, labor unions, and professional associations to achieve an integrated model of teaching, training, and certification. In addition, the Center builds information platforms to enable students to maintain comprehensive learning portfolios.

  The Center may establish a Career Guidance Promotion Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Committee). The Committee shall appoint one Chairperson, concurrently served by a Vice President or a person designated by the President. The Director of the Center shall serve as an ex officio member and concurrently act as the Executive Secretary. The Vice President, Dean of Academic Affairs, Dean of Student Affairs, Dean of General Affairs, Dean of Research and Development, Director of the Office of Industry–Academia Collaboration and Services, Deans of each College, Director of the Division of Continuing Education and Extension, and Director of the Student Counseling and Guidance Center shall serve as ex officio members. Committee members shall be appointed annually and serve without remuneration. The Center shall convene the Career Guidance Promotion Committee twice each academic year to discuss the division of responsibilities and work outcomes for that academic year. Extraordinary meetings may be convened when necessary.
